Kalo is sitted under his small "rakuba" visualising his plans of the day. He took a glass of water before hearing sound of barking dog not far from his home. Dog’s barking always signifies intruder approaching or a visitor perhaps. One of the two. Kalo got up on his feet and pepped over the fence. He saw his afiance coming from a distant. She walked and twisted her body like she was born without bones in her flash. Kalo is unsure whether he should be happy or concentrates on his plan of the day. He went to his sit and sat patiencely waiting for his monster. In a few minutes. The door opened without any knock. There she appears, tall ,chocolate skinned with goalgate smile. Standing tall like a queen tree in the middle of the forest waiting her mighty King to harvest her. Kalo just stared at his queen speechless but with glittering smile, a smile of lover birds.
Kuto: Hello darling.....
Kalo: yes honey. You look glamorous this morning.
Kuto: Ooh thank you darling. I appreciate your complement and you too look radiant.
Kalo: Come on honey I need morning kisses and hugs. don’t act like you don’t know what I am going through Right now. I am on fire for you....

Kalo: great! Good luck with that. Just a reminder, you told me yesterday that you will be coming and help me with washing of my clothes, ironing them and clean up my house too. I have fetched some water here too.
Kuto: what are you talking about? When did I sign that MOU with you? Can I see the signature? Anyway , I am not myself today! There is a lot running in my head . I am sick!
Kalo: Ooooh sorry honey! can I take you to near by clinic and see if they can check you up?
Kuto: check what? Isn’t it your stupid love thing that is making me sick? Can’t you see what you have done. You always say you love me more than I do and you promise you can even take your own life for me. Can I see that love now......?
Kalo tries to push near her slowly and touches her hands before saying anything.
Kuto: don’t touch me! There is a big difference between touch me and show me. Now touch again and I will crash that big head of yours in to pieces. Can’t you understand; coronavirus is all around us. Now go wash your hands or sanitise and keep social distance. You see I love my life, don’t bring that disease to me.
Kalo: honey I ...I....I don’t mean to be too harsh on you. I am sorry! Forgive my manners if I acted weirdly towards you.
Kuto: I am sorry too! It’s just your stupid thing eating me up. Can’t you get that in to your big and empty head?
Kalo: Okay! Can I take you out for ice cream?
Kuto: yes! Now you are talking! What took you so long to come to that idea. Why do you want people to always push you to understand their feelings. Can’t you think for yourself? Now I am all yours , you can take me to any place of your choice for ice cream.
Kalo: it’s little bit hot , can we go out in couple of hours?
Kuto: that is why I love you. You think as mature husband. You must thank me later for always push you against the wall to think like a man. I will wait for you.
Kalo: honey, how many kids do you want us to have when we get married?
Kuto: Have you started to dream again? What kids and what marriage are you talking about at this hour?
Kalo: I mean the future is here . We are no longer young. Besides, it’s good to plan in advance or else someone will plan for us.
Kuto: Wait a minute. Are you serious you want to marry me and bring me to this linking grass thatched house of yours? The whole of me! Mam’s daughter. Forget that dream my little potato. My "Abba" and Ayaah" are working hard to take me to University.
Kalo: Are you saying you will not marry me?
Kuto: Well, I didn’t say that either. All I am saying is that I am going to University to further my education for your children. wait, not any University but the mighty Ivory Tower and the 5th best University in Africa, Makerere!
I want to become a doctor, so you can call me Dr. Kuto in advance. I will appreciated that! When finish that course , I will give you your two kids and go back to theatre to save lives of my ignorant people.
Kalo: So, you mean you will definitely leave me all alone here wondering all around by myself like mad man chasing nothing. When will I have to see that beautiful smile on your face 😍?
Kuto: your biggest task here is to work all around the clock. Save or invest your little money. Build a good house for our family. When I finish, I will need a house to stay in.
Kalo. But wait honey! I first need to appreciate your parents with bride price before you come to my house.
Kuto: Leave that to me. I have talked to my parents. No one will bother you about bride wealth or whatever. My happiness is their pride. So whatever money my husband will have, he will use it wisely to make my ends meet.
Kalo: I appreciate your efforts but I am a man with pride and values to hold on to. Paying a bride price is my obligations towards your parents asking your hand in marriage.
Kuto: Don’t over think my love. We shall work it out together, you and me. So now take me out for ice cream, don’t think I have forgotten!
